MATTHEW STEVEN PUSTI is a composer based in Nashville, Tennessee. His undergraduate studies focused on production and composition with an emphasis in electronic music. His work is largely structured around momentum and emotion.
Over the past ten years, his production work as MAKEUP AND VANITY SET has led him to work in film, tv and advertising. His clients have included Lands' End, Vogue, Mercedes-Benz, Samsung, Sony Playstation, Netflix, Pepsi, and TEDx, among others.
He has collaborated with filmmakers Joey Ciccoline, Saman Kesh, Stéphane Elfassi, Anthony Scott Burns, Ash Thorp, Caspar Newbolt / Version Industries, Anja Marquardt, Tim Sutton, Abner Pastoll and Adam Wingard. He has also collaborated with a number of video game studios on original soundtracks for video games available on Playstation, Steam and VR platforms such as Oculus Rift and Vive. He also serves as the in-house composer for Tenderfoot TV in Atlanta, scoring numerous podcasts, including Up and Vanished, Atlanta Monster, To Live and Die in LA, and Radio Rental.
His music is described as deeply cinematic, at times eerie and haunting.
He is represented by Evolution Music Partners in Los Angeles.
